Upgrade your ticket to have a chat with an actual Astronaut! Get as close to space as possible during this new experience. Daily Astronauts sit down in a small group setting to answer your most pressing questions. You get to enjoy a continental breakfast in the morning or culinary samplings in the afternoon including one alcoholic beverage per adult ticket. You’ll find out about what it’s really like to live and work in space. To make the memories last, you can take home a signed portrait of the Astronaut along with a small gift.

When will I receive the tickets?

You will receive an email the day before your travel date with your gate ready barcode tickets. Upon arrival to Kennedy Space Center Visitor complex, bypass the Ticket Plaza and present your tickets at the turnstile.

What if I am not able to use the tickets on the travel date?

Your gate ready barcode tickets are valid for 6 months from the issue date listed on the tickets. Exception: If you purchased Chat with an Astronaut, this upgrade can only be used on the day of your original reservation and is non-refundable.

How often is the Chat with an Astronaut?

Chat with an Astronaut is offered twice daily at 10AM and 2PM.

What time is my Chat with an Astronaut?

The reservation for Chat with an Astronaut can be made for 10AM or 2PM and is subject to availability. You will receive an E-Mail confirmation with your details 24 hrs prior to the travel date.

COVID-19 Guidelines

Face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated guests and crewmembers. This includes in all facilities, attractions, and when riding on buses. For guests/crewmembers that are not fully vaccinated, masks are still strongly recommended.
